The Art of Dying:

Death Across Borders

With a camera in hand and an open mind and heart, I’ve been fortunate to step into the most heartfelt and eye-opening ceremonies, rituals, and traditions surrounding death across different cultures around the world, encountering some of the most remarkable souls along the way. While I’ve spent years witnessing unique death practices and rituals, I’m only sharing the most recent here- a glimpse into an ongoing exploration.

Through this journey, I’ve been gently reminded of how our relationship with mortality ripples through the way we live. Each culture’s unique honouring of death unfolds lessons that invite us to live more fully- celebrating the now, weaving our connections with care, and finding depth in the briefest of moments. By sharing this work and my learnings with you, I hope to add another layer of insight into death practices and the impact they can have on our relationship with life as part of a larger, ongoing narrative that connects us to the past, enriches the present, and shapes the future.
